5-speed manual transmission 717.445. It comes from a 290GD of the 461 series and it is identical to the 5-speed manual transmissions used in the 250GD, 300GD, 230GE and the 300GE of the 463 series. The offered gearbox is the later 461 version with fine toothed gearbox input shaft, in the version for dual mass flywheel.

The gear ratio in 5th gear is 0,799:1.

The gearbox is an original Mercedes exchange unit with part number 4612600700.

The last picture is only for clarification of the shift diagram. The shift lever is not included.

The gearbox is in overhauled condition, the worn and defective parts were renewed in a specialized company for gearbox repair. The delivery includes the mounted 8-hole flange. If the gearbox is to be installed in a later of the above-mentioned G-Classes of the 463 series, in which a homokinetic shaft is installed, the flange must be changed.
